Richard Hayertz Richard (Dick), born January 29, 1943 in Tacoma, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, October 8, 2011. Dick served in the US Air Force from 1960-1964. He became a real estate salesman in 1973 and went on to become a broker and owner of his own successful business, Sundown Land Brokers, Inc. He was the epitome of a "self-made" man and will be truly missed throughout the community. Dick was a true hero to his family and friends through his love, dedication, and support, while providing life lessons along the way. He lived life to the fullest with a constant smile on his face. Dick was the son of Phyllis Hagie, husband to Joyce, father to Victoria Kiefer, David (deceased), and Stacy Grubb (Monte), and grandfather to Jessica Merrell, Brittney Kiefer, and Griffin Grubb. Service will be held on Friday October 14, 2011, 10:00 AM, at Mountain View Cemetery. Reception will follow the service from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Arrangements by Mountain View Funeral Home.
