Richard F. Farrell's Obituary
Â"FredÂ" died on Monday, in the arms of his son Bill and daughter-in-law, Sandra. Fred died at his home on his beloved Day Island, University Place where he had been a resident for twenty yearsHe is preceded in death by his parents Edward and Mary; Brothers Thomas and Larry Farrell; grandson Freddie Farrell. Survivors include his loving wife Elizabeth Â"BessieÂ"; loving son William Â"BillÂ" and Daughter-in-law Sandra; and sister Evelyn Hildebrand; grandchildren Billy (Louie), Cheryl (Patrick), Jennifer (Lee) and Chris (Jenny) and seven great grandchildren, Charlene, Robert, Judith, Jesica, Lukus, Conner and Corbin, as well as many, many family members and friends. Fred was a lifetime member of the Defiance Masonic Lodge #22. He also loved to fish, clam and crab. In his last years Fred became quite the author, writing, as he called them, his Memoirs and many pieces of poetry. Fred immigrated with his family to the United States from Liverpool, England when he was just five years old.Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Friday, Apr. 1st, at the Mountain View Funeral Home Garden Chapel.
