On September 30, 2003, Dick went home to be with his Lord, and his devoted wife of 62 years, Helen, who preceded him in death by only 26 days. That was the longest time theyÂ'd ever been apart and he couldnÂ't wait to see her again. He was a devoted husband and father. He was born July 28, 1916. His children, Nancy, Jonathan and Daniel, 7 grandchildren, and 6 great-grandchildren survive him. Services will be held at 11 A.M., Tuesday, October 7, 2003 at Immanuel Celebration Church, 9244 Pacific Ave., Tacoma.
