Richard Donald Hofferber's Obituary
Richard Donald Hofferber passed away at his Lakewood, WA home on March 10, 2008. Richard was born on Dec. 20, 1928 in Marysville, Kansas to Myrtle and George Hofferber. Richard graduated from Bremerton High School and attended Olympic College. While still in high school, Richard became assistant manager at a large theater in Bremerton. He later was employed by Safeway in Tacoma and became one of the youngest store managers. After a medical discharge from the US Army he worked at various positions, but suffered from declining health. Richard is survived by his wife Marilyn of Lakewood, WA and brother Robert Hofferber (Delores) of Gig Harbor. His extended family includes two nieces, a nephew, cousins, stepsons' families and grandchildren. A family memorial will be held at a later date.
