To the Clark Family,
Richard and I shared many good times during our stay at Stadium High School.
He was always friendly, easy to talk with and always willing to help whenever
possibly. I am very happy for his return to his family and home. Richard, from
one veteran to another, I salute you for all you have done for our country.
Thank you,
Sincerely ---Dean Sugimoto
I knew Dick when we were at PLU together. Every time I was in DC I visited the wall and stopped with sadness at his nameplate. I rejoice that he was finally found but the sadness over his loss still remains. I would love to have more information from his family: email [email protected]

To the Clark family,
While in DC in 2000, I touched Richard's name on the wall, closed my eyes for a few seconds, thinking of him and the entire Clark family.
Love,

To the Clark Family: Welcome home to your son, brother and husband. I have carried and worn a remembrance bracelet of LTJG Clark for over 34 years. When I joined the military in 1981 I picked up the bracelet from a Vietnam Veteran in Washington DC not knowing who LTJG Clark was or how he went missing in 1967. I have been an avid viewer of the DoD POW/MIA Accounting Agency website and was relieved to see Richards name show up finally after 44 years. God Speed Richard C Clark and thank you for your service and ultimate sacrifice to our Nation.
