Rick, beloved son, husband, father, brother and friend to all he encountered, journeyed to heaven on October 14, 2010. He was born on August 9, 1969 in Tacoma, WA. Rick was a born engineer as during his youth, using his inquisitive mind, he was forever inventing, creating, experimenting with anything mechanical hoping to discover how it worked. Returning home he attended and graduated from Tacoma Community College and the University of Washington earning a degree in Electrical Engineering specializing in microchip design. While attending TCC, Rick and his teammate Dale, won the American Society of Mechanical Engineers International Design Contest in Anaheim, CA.
