Richard A. Stierl's Obituary
Richard was born in Tacoma, WA on May 13, 1957, and passed away on March 12, 2005 after a short battle with cancer. He had a longtime career as a hair dresser. His talent as a magician is something many of us can remember. He was a dance instructor for many years and made a lot of wonderful friends and created many happy memories. Richard was also very involved with the Science Fiction Conventions in the area and would spend all year creating costumes for himself and his friends. He was very creative and artistic young man with many talents. RichardÂ's greatest joy in life was his family and spending time with his close and loving friends. Richard enjoyed life to the fullest.Richard is survived by his mother, Sofia Stierl, brother Michael (Ursula) Stierl, sisters Sophia (David) Santos, Katie (Gary) Grindley, Maria (Don) Lynne and Rosie (Cliff) Schultz, large extended family, and his special close friend, Herby Fairbanks.Richard will be missed by many, for many reasons. His spirit of love and friendship will always be with us.Donations, in lieu of flowers, to Valley View Christian Fellowship or the charity of your choice.Viewing will be from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM on Tuesday, and from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM on Wednesday at Mountain View Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 17, 2005 in the Mt. View Valley Chapel.
