Ilene and Reuben were kind and most congenial neighbors. It was enjoyable to watch he and Ilene cut and stack their winter firewood together. Ilene would hang the wash on the clothesline. Reuben would be out back fighting the blackberry onslaught or riding his John Deere mowing the 2 plus acres in a slow and methodical process. They will be greatly missed!

Uncle Reuben went out of his way to accommodate and show our family a great time when we visited him in 1976 in Tacoma. He showed us his warehouse and assembly location where he built high quality doors. Irene his wife cooked the best homage blackberry cobbler and a feast. He really opened his home up to us. He was always flying into minnesota for family functions and events. He was always so kind and loving. He will be missed and our condolences goes out to the family.
