1SG, retired, Frank Holmes passed away on May 2, 2014 in Tacoma, WA. He was born on July 20, 1931 in Bowling Green, MS.
Frank served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by his wife Erdell; daughters Mary, Cornease and Carrie Holmes; brothers Wil Holmes and Samuel Thurman; sisters Rosa Mae Smith and Margaret Lang; 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11am, Saturday, May 17, 2014 at True Vine Community Church of God in Christ.
