CSM (Retierd) Edward Lee Mauro's Obituary
Command Sergeant Major (Retired) Edward Lee Mauro passed away April 24th, 2022, at his home in Tacoma, Washington. He was born February 2, 1936, in Spokane, Washington. He joined the United States Army in 1955 and retired in 1984. Following his retirement, he worked for Civil Service as a Drug and Alcohol Counselor for a few years. Later he became a language tester for the Army. He married Sun Ye Son in 1980.
Survivors include his beloved wife of the home. Daughters Peggy Moore and husband Dale of Snyder, Oklahoma, Shilla Burk and husband Richard of Pahrump, Nevada, Steven Mauro of Lawton, Oklahoma, Andre Son and wife Chae of Redmond, Washington. 11 grandkids, 10 great grandkids. A sister Peggie Rogers of Spokane, Washington, Robert Mauro of Kelso, Washington, Denis Howard of Camden, Tennessee. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
