Reta Lynn Hanson's Obituary
Reta Lynn Hanson was released from the burden and struggle of diabetes and many related illnesses on January 14, 2004. Born February 12, 1956 to Lawrence and June Timmons in Los Angeles, CA, she is survived by her husband of 20 ½ years, Kenneth Hanson; mother June Timmons; brothers Gary (Linda) Timmons, and Danny Timmons; sister Betty (Gene) Hooper, and many cousins, nephews, nieces.Though weak in body, she is remembered by friends and family as a rock and source of strength. She was an unselfish and loving person with an open ear to any in need of a friend. She loved children and provided loving care in her home for those of her friends. She labored in love, producing crafts with her hands for those she loved and cherished. Reta was an active member of the Church of Christ and taught childrenÂ's Bible classes. Memorial services will be held at the Federal Way Church of Christ, January 24, 2004 at 1:00pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association.Directions to Memorial Service:Church of Christ, 30012 S. Military Road, Federal Way, WANorthbound on I-5, Exit #143.
