Born in New Castle, Indiana, on May 27th, 1963, Renee Michelle Pathakis was a beacon of kindness and compassion. Her gentle spirit touched all who knew her. A devoted wife to Paul Pathakis, Renee's love and support were unwavering. She was a caring mother to her daughters, Kristina Olsen and Brandi Wood, and her nurturing nature extended to her 12 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Renee found joy in the simple moments spent with her family. She cherished playing board games with her grandchildren, creating memories filled with laughter and love. Her home was a place of warmth, where everyone felt welcomed and valued.
Her loyalty, generosity, and supportive nature were evident in every aspect of her life. Renee was always ready with a kind gesture or a listening ear, leaving a lasting impact on her family and community. Her gentle compassion and unwavering dedication to her loved ones will be dearly missed.
Renee is survived by her husband Paul Pathakis, her daughter Brandi Wood, her parents Cheryl Jackson and Donald Sumpter, and her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was preceded in passing by her daughter Kristina Olsen.
Her passing on March 13th, 2025, in Tacoma, Washington, leaves a gentle void in the hearts of her loved ones. As we remember Renee, may we carry forward her spirit of compassion and the simple joys she found in being with family.
