Rena G. OlsenTogether AgainBorn July 4, 1913 in Tacoma, WA; passed away May 10, 2003, she left to join her beloved husband, Ottar Â"BootsÂ" Olsen after a long struggle with AlzheimerÂ's Disease.After retiring from Civil Service, Rena went on to be a full time volunteer at Puget Sound Hospital in Tacoma. Rena was very active in the Lakewood Elks Emblem Club serving two terms as President. Rena was also a member of the Women of the Moose, Tacoma Chapter. She was preceded in death by her husband Boots and daughter Joanne R. Logsdon.She is survived by her daughters, Marie L. Lewis of Dayton, OH, and Trudy Vermaas of Randle, WA; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.Viewing will be 10am, Thursday, May 15, 2003 at Mt. View Funeral Home with services at 11am, Thursday, May 15, 2003 in the Mountain View Garden Chapel. Internment at Mt. View Memorial Park.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to Lakewood Elks Lodge #2388 Emblem Club, 6313 75th WW, Lakewood, WA 98467
