Regenia Rena Gibbs' Obituary
Regenia R. Gibbs, age 61, died of natural causes September 13, 2015 in her home. She was born October 12, 1953. She is the daughter of the late Dorothy Neal and Ezra Smith of Jacksonville, Florida. She is survived by her children Kenneth Gibbs and his wife Doneice Gibbs (Harvin), Shakena Beeman (Gibbs) and her husband Len Beeman, and Conztrillana Hankerson (Ward) and her husband Terry Hankerson. Her grandchildren Kadon Gibbs, Keilen Beeman, Jayden Beeman, and Marvin Beeman. She received a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Bethune-Cookman University in Daytona, Florida. Upon graduation she returned to her hometown of Jacksonville, Florida where she dedicated her life to educating youth as an Elementary School Teacher. The family would like to extend sincere thanks to the medical professionals, social services teams, family, and friends who provided support during Regenia’s final days. She was sick for a longtime and fought an amazing battle. May she now find rest in God’s perfect peace.
