Our condolences to Sandi and family. Ray was an inspiration to his neighborhood. He was a devoted walker until his last few days. We would look out our windows and see him walking no matter if it was rain, sun, sleet or snow. He always had a smile and a friendly wave as he passed by. We have lived in the same neighborhood as Ray and Sandi for many years. Matt and our son played together as boys and were on some of the same soccer teams. Ray was a tough man and he fought hard to win the battle with cancer, a disease that is very difficult to beat. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the Proper family. Patty & Don Swanson
