Raymond Donald Malone's Obituary
Raymond Donald Malone passed away peacefully on March 1, 2014 surrounded by his family in Seattle. Ray was born September 5, 1940 to Loyd and Frances (Sidwall) in Rolla, Missouri.
He lived with his grandfather on his farm until he was 15 years of age. He then moved in with his dad.
Ray enlisted in the United States Air Force in March of 1958, but due to a neck injury suffered before his entry into service, he was honorably discharged.
Shortly, thereafter Ray married the love of his life Sandra on May 19, 1961 in Tacoma. They owned and operated the Burger Box for a number of years, He was also a bus operator for Metro in Seattle before and after ownership of the Burger Box.
Ray and Sandra had to children Donald A. of Fife, and Kevin Craig Bredl(Celina) Malone of Tacoma.
Ray loved animals and the casino.
Ray is survived by his wife Sandy and his two sons.
He is also survived by his brother Charles Malone of St. Louis, MO, sisters Carolyn Adam of Rolla, MO, Debby Walsh of St. Louis, MO, Glenda Thomas (Jim), and Betty Greenwalt (Rick) .
Ray will be sorely missed by all those he touched.
A view for Ray will be held on Sunday, March 9, 2014 from 9:00am to 5:00pm in the main vbldg at Mountain View Memorial Park and Funeral Home at 4100 Steilacoom Blvd SW, Lakewood, WA 98499.
