Raymond E. Lindstrom's Obituary
Raymond E. Lindstrom was born on October 12, 1920 in Tacoma, Washington where he lived until he passed away on July 21, 2015. He graduated from Lincoln High School in Tacoma in 1939. Ray served in World War II in the South Pacific with the U.S. Army from 1943-1946, and was awarded the Bronze Star. He retired as a shipbuilding superintendent after 32 years with Tacoma Boat. Ray was an active member of the South Tacoma Eagles, and was a long time member of St. Paul’s Methodist Church (The Bridge).
Ray was married to Patricia for 56 years. She preceded him in death in 2003. He is survived by his sons Ed (Barb) and Rich (Patty). He had six grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, July 30 at 2:00 p.m. in the Garden Chapel at Mountain View Memorial Park. This will be followed by a celebration of life in the Willow Room.
