I have known the Grabski's since they moved into their home when I was just a young girl. I have many memories of the "mean guy" next door. As years went by, and I babysat Heidi when Holly was born, then babysat both girls, I learned to love Ray and Jan as family. He was such a grouchy "old" man, but I loved seeing him whenever I was over next door at my parents - now brother's house. I just laughed at him when he was trying to be mean to me as I became a teenager. I guess he got soft over the years because my daughter, Ashley just laughed at him too. I will always miss his "words of wisdom", threats and jokes. I remember when clear lip gloss was the rage for teenage girls and he saw it on me. He told me it looked like I had rubbed chicken "poop" all over my lips. I just couldn't put that out of my memory even when Ashley just had to have it. John and I are greatful to have had the opportunity to know Ray and will keep the entire family in our prayers. I have cried many tears since Tuesday and will cry many more. Jan, Heidi and Holly, I have no words to help ease your pain. Just know that you are loved and being prayed for by TONS of people. He will always be the garbage man. Jan, I do hope to hear your sweet laugh again, although I know it will take time. All my love, Beth and John King##imported-begin##Beth (Linton) King##imported-end##
