Raymon Gibson's Obituary
Raymon Gibson, age 87 of Tacoma passed away on Saturday, November 1, 2014. He was born in Raymond Washington on February 22, 1927. Ray served in the Army in Korea in 1946, and then opened Gibson’s Mobil Service Station with his brother. He served his customers until he retired in 1989. He then embarked on a second career as a volunteer at Tacoma General Hospital for another 18 years. He baked killer pies for holidays, and loved his vegetable garden. Dad was a kind and gentle soul who touched all that knew him. He was a kind and loving husband, dad, and grandfather and will be greatly missed.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Gibson, son Scott Gibson (Nancy), daughter Jeannette Kuhlmann (Mark), and son Kent Gibson (Laura Haas). Stepdaughters Audrey Adams and Valerie Rodriguez (John). Grandchildren Caleb Gibson, EmmaLee Kuhlmann, Christopher Rodriguez, and Sarah Rodriguez. Sister-in-Law Millie Gibson and Niece Judy Witt (Bill). He was preceded in death by his mother Priscilla Gibson, brother Quentin Gibson, and niece Janine Gibson.
