Mom and Dad are Together Again
Ray was born on August 6, 1920 to Pearl and Ralph Whiton in Jerome, Idaho, and passed away peacefully on June 22, 2016 in Tacoma, WA with his family at his side. He served in World War II as a Tech Sargent. On January 7th, 1949 he married the love of his life, Waynette Michener and they had three children together. Ray was an avid Seahawks and Mariners fan, and loved watching basketball. He was also a retired Computer Technician/Teacher. Ray is preceded in death by his wife, Waynette. Survivors include his children: Steve (Judith) Whiton of Tacoma, Rayna Whiton of Vancouver and Jaimie Whiton of Tacoma, 4 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
