James Ransom (Fritz) Winder
James Ransom (Fritz) Winder Fritz, was born in Rigby, Idaho on August 18th, 1918. He left us to join his wife Jeanne and son Terry on Tuesday, June 7th, 2011. After serving in WWII, he and his wife Jeanne settled in Tacoma, where they raised their three sons, Terry, Bob and Randy. Fritz worked in the printing business from the 1940's. He worked at Pioneer Business Forms and retired from his own firm, Business Communications, Inc., in the 1980's. He was an avid bowler, carrying a 200+ average during his heyday. He bowled in multiple leagues weekly and operated several bowling alleys, including the Tacoma Elks Alleys. His other passion was golf. He attained a record that very few will ever match; he shot his age twenty-two consecutive years, beginning with 69. In accordance with his wishes, there will be no services.
