RAMONA MINNIE SINGLETONRamona was born in Mini Glacier, Montana on July 8, 1927. Ramona moved toKalispell, Montana where she graduated from Flathead High School andsubsequently met and married her husband, Kenneth McPherson Singleton. Ken preceded her in death. She enjoyed square dancing with Ken and their friends for many, many years. Mona enjoyed working at Northwest Trek andShapes of Clay for many years. In later years, she was often involved in visiting with her grandchildren and loved to attend their school events. Mona had a heart for helping, and would often volunteer to pick up a friend for shopping, or church, or bingo. She loved to travel and visit relatives back home in Montana. For her four daughters she was a mom who would listen, not always with profound words of advice, but by just being there ready to listen and to love. Mona is survived by her brother Charles LaRance and his wife Dolores who, together, provided much of her care during her battle with cancer, as well as her daughters Gerri Crain (Jim) of Valley Station, Kentucky, Timm Allison (Stan) of Olympia, Penne Pelton (Paul) of Puyallup, and Kelly McFate (Scott) of Graham, Washington. She had 9 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the ALS Foundation of Washington.
