Mona was one of six siblings and is survived by two brothers, Raymond and Howard, sister Kathryn, her loving daughter Sherrie and three grandsons. Her husband Paul of sixty years and their daughter Luann preceded her in death. Mona loved gardening, growing beautiful flowers that brought joy to all who saw them. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, making dolls and teddy bears. She was a lifetime member (50+ years) with the Order of Eastern Star and retired as a Day Surgery Secretary at the Baker Street Medical Building in 1992. Mona devoted the last 32 years providing loving care for her ailing husband making his life as comfortable as possible. Services for Mona will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2009 at 1:00 PM in the Mountain View Valley Chapel at Mountain View Cemetery, 4100 Steilacoom Blvd. SW Lakewood, Washington. She courageously dealt with the debilitating affects of Parkinson's disease for 18 years. In lieu of flowers please make donations, in the memory of Mona, to the Michael J.
