My fonest memories of Ray are all of our interactions at work, Madigan Army Medical Center (MAMC). Ray was always kind and polite with me. Back in the day, when I needed help finding an Operating Room (OR) item location; Ray was my Go-To person. He was a no nonsense kind of co-worker. The OR Cores are no longer my work areas. Lately, I had been crossing Ray's path while transversing the halls delivering my supply orders. I noticed he had lost a lot of weight. I had gotten use to seeing him on his regular walks. I would often wave, smile and say, "Hi, Ray"😃🖐 like I did that Friday before Labor Day for the last time. Had I known it would be the last time, I would have stopped and talked with him. But I was in a hurry to get to my next delivery place.
Once in 2024, Ray and I had a conversation about our most recent family loss. My dad had passed. And Ray told me of his family loss. Ray was easy to talk with. I miss him. My deepest sympathic to his family, friends neighbors and our co-workers.
MAMC without seeing Ray coming down the hall will be less enjoyable.
MAMC without Ray!😢
