Ralph Goods' Obituary
Ralph Alexander Goods was born March 19, 1919 and was reunited with his loving wife Emma on September 3, 2013.
Born in Bucyrus North Dakota to Victor and Mary Goods he was the oldest of 7 children.
He joined the Marine Corps in 1942 and was “Honorably Discharged “ in 1946 because of Malaria.
He married Emma Watsula on November 8, 1954 and moved to Tacoma Wa. Then Puyallup Wa where they adopted 2 children, Jonathan Victor and Maryanna Susie.
In 1970 the family moved to a farm in Gig Harbor Wa. Here is where Ralphs love of carpentry and gardening shined as they remodeled the old farm into a magnificent showplace. Daffodils were his favorite.
Ralph was a carpenter by trade and loved to fix things. His love for the outdoors included raising sheep, flowers , going rock digging the grape vineyard and vegetable garden.
Wednesday night bible study was held at the farm house creating very special memories.
Ralph is Survived by his two children, Maryanna Boardway (Tim) and Jon Goods. His 3 beloved grandchildren Rob (Missy) Emily (Max) Megan (Jason) and his 2 great-grandchildren Isabell and Tucker Boardway.
Brothers: Bill (JoAnn), Jim (Bea) Sister: Ester Muth Sister in Law: Carol (Gene)
and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preciding him in death: Wife Emma- Brothers: Bob, Gene-Sister:Marie-Parents Victor and Mary Goods
Service: Wednesday September 11, 2013 at Mountain View in the Celebration Of Life Building followed by graveside service and reception.
