Ralph F. Pollock's Obituary
Ralph Frederick Pollock Ralph Pollock was born to Michael and Eva Pollock in Crosby Minnesota, May 27,1919. He left this world on May 11, 2009 to join his bride of 59 years, Mary Louise (Petty)Pollock. World War II and the Navy brought Ralph to Washington, where he met his bride to be at a USO event in Tacoma while stationed in Bremerton prior to shipping out. Ralph served on the USS Wake Island. After the war the couple called Tacoma home and raised their family here. Ralph was a plumber by trade and finished his career as a Plumbing Inspector for the City of Tacoma. He was a Fifty Year Life Member of The United Association of Local Union #26, Journeyman and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipefitting Industry, a past Master of the Ancient Landmark Masonic Lodge and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars. His passions were his family, friends, the outdoors, fishing and hunting. He and Mary Louise were long time members at Fircrest Golf and Country Club. He is survived by his children Candace Kerr and Clayt (Lynn) Pollock; grandchildren Michael (Meg) Kerr, Kathleen (Jonathan) Lewis and Mark Millhouse; great grandchildren Claire, and Grace Kerr, Isaac, Oliver, Addison, Mara and Elsbeth Lewis: sister Ruth Hinkle, plus many many nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at Fern Hill Cemetery in Menlo Washington at 11:00am Saturday May 23rd.
