Rafaela Comstock's Obituary
Mrs. Comstock, 74, formerly of Lakewood, Washington passed away Thursday, August 19, 2010 in Matthews, NC where she relocated to be near her son and his family. She loved the Pacific Northwest and her friends there. Born October 24, 1935 in Covite City, Philippines Island, she was the daughter of the late Emilio Cojo and Derigida Tabon-Tabon. A lifelong Catholic, she will be remembered as a wonderful cook and fantastic gardener and love of growing flowers. Mrs. Comstock is survived by her son, John C. Comstock, wife Julie and grandchildren John Jr., and Gabrielle of Matthews, NC; four sisters and one brother in the Philippines. She was preceded in death by her husband Rodney W. Comstock. The Comstock family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at Heritage Funeral Home in North Carolina, a prayer service will begin at 11:00 a.m. and graveside services will be Monday, August 30th, 2010 at 11:30 a.m. at Mountain View Cemetery in Tacoma, Washington.
