Rachel Rhoads' Obituary
Rachel (Arnett) Rhoads was born in Sanford Indiana April 22, 1933, she was the third child being born ten minutes later than her twin brother. She lived her early years in Indiana moving to Washington state at the age of 20 shortly after her marriage to Armen. Rachel was a lifelong devout Christian and a pastors wife for more than 60 years. She was outgoing, friendly and loving with everyone she met which made her the perfect pastors wife as she dedicated herself to helping her husband in his ministry. When she was 50 years old she went to school and became a Licensed Practical Nurse fulfilling a lifelong dream. Rachel loved outdoor activities including camping, fishing, hiking and hunting, she pursued these activities with her family whenever she had the opportunity. Rachel is survived by her eldest son, five grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren, we mourn her passing but we are at peace knowing she has gone to a better place.
Services for Rachel will be held Thursday, January 31, 2018 in the Garden Chapel at Mountain View Funeral Home & Memorial Park, Lakewood.
