Rachel Myrtle Baughman's Obituary
Rachel Myrtle Johnson Baughman Rachel was born August 20, 1925, in Rockford, IL, to Rudolph and Myrtle Johnson. She passed away on May 13, 2008, in Tacoma, WA. She lived a life of faith and commitment to her Lord and His church, and of service to others. Rachel is survived by Paul, her husband of 56 years, their 4 children Peter (Sharon) of San Antonio, David (Kelly) and Mark (Karen) of Auburn, Ann (David) Amble of Virginia Beach, and 7 grandchildren. Rachel spent her last years suffering from Alzheimer's disease, until she finally was released to join her Lord and Savior. Her family has missed her loving and caring spirit the past few years, and is happy that she is finally at peace. A memorial service will be held at St. Mark's Lutheran Church by the Narrows in Tacoma on May 24, 2008 at 2pm. In lieu of flowers, remembrances can be sent to Lutheran World Relief or another church-based charity.
