R. Dean Farrar's Obituary
Dean, age 77, passed away peacefully on December 17, 2013. He was born in Big Creek, Idaho, November 25, 1936. Dean and his wife, Darlene made their home in Northeast Tacoma, which continues to hold many dear family memories.
Dean is preceded in death by his beloved daughter Jan, his sister Francis, parents in law, Margeret and George McDonald and his mother Beatrice. He is survived by his loving wife, Darlene, his two sons Darren and David (Heather), brother John (Chris), sisters Kathy and Dottie, grandchildren Christopher (Angie), Ryan, Chelsea, Nykki, great-grand daughter Ava, and many nieces and nephews.
Dean had a very positive attitude and touched all those who knew him. He made many friends through is work, his passion for sports and helping the community. Dad was a devoted 12th man.
