R.B. Josh Dowell Was called home on March 21, 2014. He was born on June 28, 1935 to Josh and Mariah Dowell in Steele, MO. He joined the army in 1952 and served until 1977. After completing his military service, he worked for the Washington State Employment Security Department until retiring in 1997. R.B. was married to Dorothy Welch for 58 years. Their union produced five children: Billy Dowell of San Diego, CA, Dianna Dowell-Robinson of Dallas TX, Donald Dowell of Merced, CA, and Gloria Dowell and Dean Dowell of Tacoma. R.B has four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Mountain View Memorial Park and Crematory on 4100 Steilacoom Blvd SW Lakewood, WA, 98499.
