Her parents were Jack Jones and Ruth Hardy. She was the 2nd of 3 children.
After graduation she began a career as Nurse’s Aides.
She has lived in Newport News, VA, Camp LeJune, NC and Pearl Harbor, HI
She was married to Joseph A Tate on January 6, 1958.
Was a member of the Greater Christ Temple and Tacoma Baptist Church.
Her special friends were Tina Glaude, Tiny Boggan and Ernestine & Robert McMillian-Dingui.
The most important events in her life were the births of her many Grandchildren, Damone, Lil Princene, Ozell, Dashe’ and Shajuanda

Her favorite hobbies, activities and past times were reading, puzzles and Playing cards
Her favorite songs were “Thriller” Michael Jackson, Al Green “Let’s Stay Together”, Smokey Robinson and Tom Jones.
The family feels she would want everyone to have a celebratory atmosphere at her service.
She was a Mother to many and a Friend to everyone. Darrell says she has the best love in the world. If she called you “Doll Babe”, You were special.
