The first time we met Oprang was in 1999 in Hawaii while attending the wedding of Arthur and Sara Badua. Oprang immeditaly greeted us warmly and showed so much interest, kindness and warmth. After talking with him the various times during our trip, it became obvious that he was a man with much love, not only for his family, but also his country. He was a real hero in the truest sense of the word, having greatly served his country in 3 wars, as well as helping his brother and sister-in-law in raising their children. We are proud to have known Oprang, and we will truly miss him, and know how much he will be missed by all who knew him. The world is a better place for having had his presence among us for these many years.
