It was a privilege to know Potenciana and Ricardo Devilla and their family at the Philippine Scouts Heritage Society annual reunion. Mr Devilla was active with the Society being CSMG.Retired and a Philippine Scout veteran. He was the President of the Calugas chapter organized by the First President Mr. Mark Mocorro. As the son of the late Captain Jose Calugas, Sr. a Philippine Scout Medal of Honor recipient, it's an honor to have met most of the Philippine Scouts veterans in the Lakewood and Tacoma areas and became friends with their sons and daughters to organized the chapter.
The Philippine Scouts Heritage Society (PSHS) was formed to preserve the history, heritage and legacy of the Philippine Scouts. Finally I want to thank the the Devilla family for their donation to the Calugas chapter,in lieu of flowers.
