Porferio Abogho Badilla's Obituary
Born in Misamis Oriental, Philippine Islands to Casimira Badilla on November 4, 1917, passed away peacefully at home on May 27, 2004. He retired from the US Army in 1962 after 20 years and then later retired from the American Lake Veterans Administration Hospital as a food service worker after 20 years in 1983. He is survived by his 12 children Norma Dizon, Lindy Napoleon from Hawaii, Melne Badilla, Lito Badilla, Melda Cronin, Ray Badilla, Carmela DeLong, Douglas Badilla, Roger Badilla, Maria Sims, Paul Badilla, and Vicky Reynolds, 34 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Remedios Badilla.Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, June 3, 2004, at 11:00am at Visitation Catholic Church followed by military honors at graveside in Mountain View Memorial Park, Tacoma, Washington.
