Phylaine Folson's Obituary
Phylaine V. Folson passed peacefully from this earth on November 2, 2012 in Tacoma, WA. She was born on September 30, 1924, to John and Matilda (Lowe) Folson in Edinburg, ND. Phylaine was raised on the family farm and moved to Tacoma with friends where she worked for DSHS for 30 years retiring at the age of 62. Phylaine loved to travel and dance. She was an active member of Central Lutheran Church and the Daughters of Norway. She leaves behind a legacy of generous giving with organizations such as PLU and Concordia College. She was preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth, and her parents. She is survived by daughter, LuAnn and grand-son, Aaron, of Steilacoom. She leaves behind cousins in North Dakota and a cousin in Texas as well as many friends. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on November 8, at Central Lutheran Church. Interment will be in Edinburg. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the "Light the Cross" project at Central Lutheran Church; 409 North Tacoma Ave., Tacoma, WA 98403
