SSG. Phillip J. Castro died February 3, 2009. He was born June 9, 1929 in Panay, Iloilo, Philippines. A retired US Army and AAFES, and also a Korean and Vietnam veteran. He is survived by his wife Josie, stepchildren Nomie and John, sister Nina. Viewing will be held from 1:00 PMEto 9:00 PM Tuesday, February 10th, 2009 at Mountain View Funeral Home. Funeral services 11:00 AM February 11, 2009 in the Mountain View Garden Chapel. Graveside services will follow at New Tacoma Cemetery at 1:00 PM.
