Michael J. Gelien
I remember Philip in 7th grade Art class. He could really draw well and was obvious he had talent. Years later we met at a car show near Tacoma. I was staying in my RV and 'Phil' showed the next morning. It was very cold weather and my water heater went out. Within a few short minutes of testing Phil says. 'your circuit board it out'. So off we went in his car to an RV supply house. He was cool.... he knew the area and knew what was the right part. We got back and within minutes the stove was pulled for access and the circuit board was installed. It was wonderful getting a hot shower on such a cold morning Phil waited till I got my shower and we visited for the rest of the day. It was fun.
We were supposed to get together this August or September at my place. He liked it here being so quiet he said. He was fun to hang around with. Philip had very high intelligence. I will miss him.
I will miss him... Older I get the more folks now gone, the more I realize I should have said more to Philip as well. So long my good friend. Lord be with you.
I send Love,
Michael Gelien
