Philip William King's Obituary
Philip "Phil" William King, 64, of Tacoma, passed away June 8, 2018
Phil was born March 18, 1954 in Centralia, Washington, the son of William and Marjorie King. He married the love of his life Maurine Lawson, October 18, 1984. The family along with many friends, has lost an incredible human being. He graduated technical school for HVAC and was one of the top HVAC salesmen and technicians on the West Coast; As well as a teacher and mentor in the field in North Dakota. He had many passions which included cooking, fishing, rebuilding trikes and motorcycles, collecting antiques, vacationing and spending time with his family. He was also a vehicle enthusiast with many projects he took very much pride in. Everything he did, he did with passion and care. He lived to do the right thing and sacrifice for his family and wife. His biggest pride and joy was the family he created and wanted little more than to help them lead good lives and love each other. His sarcasm and inappropriate humor was enjoyed by many and offended an equal number. It is something that will be greatly missed.
His wife Maurine was the light of his life and they had a love like no other. They enjoyed going to karaoke, entertaining family and traveling; often to the ocean. His life ended too soon, but while he was on this earth he embraced the opportunities and the chance to experience life with open arms. He would always rather enjoy the moment, than stress about the future. He wanted, and led, a very full life.
He is survived by his loving wife, Maurine; mother Marjorie King; children: Kerri King, Jessica King, Lara Baluta, Justin King, Philip King Jr., April Correa, Trisha Day, and Taylor King; 20 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren, 1 grand dog and several friends and associates.
He was reunited in heaven with his son Roy King and father William King.
