Philip Kimani Kihara's Obituary
It is with grieving hearts and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Phillip Kimani Kihara of Tacoma Washington USA and a former Traffic Police Officer at Athi River Weighbridge, who went to be with the Lord on 14th of May 2021 after a long battle with cancer. He was son to the late Peter Kihara Karuthi and the late Grace Nyaruiru Kihara of Nakuru County, Subukia sub-county, Kabazi. He was husband to beloved wife Jennifer Muthoni Kimani of Washington Seattle, Father to Martin Kihara (Canada) Kennedy Mucheke (USA) and Anthony Gitau (USA). He was Brother to Peter Gitau, Esther Wanjiku, Loise Njeri, Lydia Njeri, Zephaniah Wainaina, Moses Njuru, Susan Wanjiru, Martha Muthoni and Damaris Wangui. Uncle to James Gitau and many others, Cousin to Damaris Gathecha and Richard Karachi (Worchester Boston USA), Son in law to Nimrod Mucheke and Margaret Wanjiku (Njumbi Nyakianga, Muranga County). Father in law to Jennifer Muthoni Kihara (Canada) and Lilian Njeri Gitau (Tacoma USA). Was brother in law to Jane Maina, Tabitha Wangu (London), Miaro, Njeri, Caroline Wambui and Ezbon Maina (Seattle Washington) Grandfather to Arielle Muthoni Mucheke (USA), Tyler Kimani Kihara (Canada), Leilanie Muthoni Mucheke (USA), Liam Mwangi Kihara (Canada), and Ethan Mucheke Kihara (Canada). Funeral arrangements made daily at his home in Tacoma Seattle. He will be laid to rest on 5/28/2021 at Mountain View Cemetery, Tacoma Washington. Service starts at 10am.
