Peter Zuniga's Obituary
Peter was born in Mexicali, Mexico on March 13, 1927, and passed away on October 3, 2010. He joined the Army in 1944, and retired in 1966. Upon retirement, he moved his family to Tacoma. He was a 22 year employee of Parker Paint, and also worked for Titus-Will (Tacoma). He was an active member at Trinity Church, where he served faithfully. He loved to hunt, fish, camp, play cards and play bingo. He had a great sense of humor and love for the elderly and children. Peter was a loving and caring husband for 54 years. He is survived by his wife Connie, son Jeff (Demetria), daughter Susan Kelly, 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild with another on the way. The family would like thank all of the doctors and nurses that cared for Peter at Madigan Army Medical Center and for the special care provided by the Franciscan Hospice House. In celebration of Peter's life, we invite you to join us on October 8, 2010, at 1:00 PM at Trinity Church, 4041 Tacoma Mall Blvd, Tacoma, WA.
