Peter Richard Conrardy

Peter passed peacefully on Saturday, March 25 after a short battle with cancer. His wife Millie and brother Ted were with him when he passed. He was born on November 27, 1942 in Sheboygan, Wisconsin to Dolores (Maersch) Conrardy and George Conrardy. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, maternal and fraternal grandparents, 13 aunts, 4 uncles and several cousins.
Peter graduated from Lakeland College in 1965 with a BS and served in the US Army from 1967to 1975 at the rank of Captain. He held positions of: Director of Logistics, Augmentation Readiness Group, Mannheim, Germany (1967-1970); Advisor, Vietnamese QM Base Depot, Saigon, Vietnam (1970-1971); Student, USA Quartermaster Advanced Course, Fort Lee, Virginia (1971-1972); Commissary Officer, Ft. Lee, Virginia (1972-1973); Chief Instructor, Commissary Course, Subsistence Dept., Fort Lee, Virginia (1973-1974) and Commissary Officer, Dhahran, Saudi Arabia (1974-1975).
He entered civil service in 1975-1977 as a Commissary Officer, Schweinfurt, Germany. Subsequent assignments were: Commissary Officer, Mannheim, Germany (1977-1979); Chief, Management Branch, AFCOMS European Region, Kaiserslautern, Germany (1979-1981); Student, Cornell University, AFCOMS Long Term/Full Time Training, receiving a Masters of Professional Studies in Agriculture, Ithaca, New York (1981-1982); CMS, Policies/Procedures Branch, HQ AFCOMS, Kelly AFB, Texas (1983-1984); Commissary Officer, Lackland AFB, Texas (1984-1987); Director of Operations, AFCOMS Pacific Region, Hickham AFB, Hawaii (1987-1990); Chief, DeCA Northwest Transition Team, Ft. Lewis, Washington (1990-1991); Chief, Management/Merchandising, Northwest Pacific Region, Fort Lewis, Washington (1991-1996); Chief, Management Branch, Western Pacific Region, Sacramento, California (1996-1998); Zone Manager, Okinawa, Japan (1998-2004) and Store Director, McChord AFB, Washington (2004-2008).
He is survived by his loving wife Millie of 19 years, his brother Ted Conrardy (wife Lucille), 6 step-daughters; Marybarbara Q. McDougal (husband Gilbert Espinoza) of New Jersey, Nadine Conrardy Trevino (husband Jose M. Trevino III) of Floresville, TX, Winnie Paul (who takes after her dad and loves her rescue dogs and parrot) of Honolulu, HI, and Kathleen Jones (husband Rick Jones) of Bonney Lake, WA, Darilyn Ingleman (husband Roy Inglemon) of Bonney Lake and Dawn Quiocho of Georgia. He is the grandfather of Dora A. McDougal, Dallas Marie Trevino, Odessa Anne Trevino, Rachel Lynn Jones, Dionisia Wells-Quiocho, Daryl L. McDougal, Tyler Richard Trevino, Denton Cole Trevino and Kyle Clayton Jones; great-grandfather of India Lofton. He is the uncle of Jessica Ann (Conrardy) Tiberio (husband Guy Tiberio of Yorkville, Illinois, Aaron Michael Conrardy of San Antonio Texas and Peter Jacob Conrardy (wife Katy Conrardy) of Austin, Texas.
Peter loved to bowl, golf, visit the casino, travel, read action novels, play with his dog Huey and driving his Ford Thunderbird.
The family wishes to thank the nurses and doctors on the Oncology floor and those on the ICU
A memorial service will be held at Mountain View Funeral Home in Lakewood, WA on April 13th. Visitation at 9:00 AM, followed by a memorial service. Burial ceremonies will be at Mt. Tahoma at 2:00 PM.
