Perfecto Buenavista Picardal's Obituary
Perfecto Buenavista Picardal, born April 18, 1925 in Bauang, La Union Philippines, passed away August 21, 2010 in Tacoma, Washington. He graduated from FEATI University in the Philippines with degrees in airline maintenance and mechanical engineering. He first took work in Subic Bay, Philippines as a material foreman in a heavy equipment warehouse. He worked abroad in Afghanistan as a hiring officer for the American International Development Program from 1960 to 1965. He immigrated to the United States in 1978 and worked at Tektronix in Portland, Oregon for many years.
Perfecto devoted his life to his family. His wife, Elnora, passed away in 2003. they were married for 53 years. He is survived by his seven children and their spouses, 13 grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and a host of extended family and friends. He was a loving, funny, and hard-working person. He will be missed dearly.
