Peggy Louise Fulton's Obituary
Peggy Fulton
"I'll drink to that"
Peggy was born April 20, 1923 as the 4th of 5 children to John and Elizabeth McCarthy in Brainard, Minn. and passed peacefully December 13, 2008 in University Place. Peg married Ken Fulton and together they made a life for themselves in the greater Tacoma area. Their happiest years were spent owning and operating "The Flame" restaurant where no one stayed a stranger for very long. They developed life long friendships at the heavy end of the bar. She enjoyed bowling, darts and "getaway" trips to Reno. Peg is survived by her son, Larry (Nadine); grandchildren Ken and Julie; brother Archie McCarthy; stepson Gary Edele (Lynn) and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Ken, the love of her life. Visitation will be Thursday, Dec. 18th from 11 am - 9 pm. Funeral services will be 1 pm Friday, Dec. 19th at the Mountain View Garden Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a Hospice fund.
