I am so sorry to hear of Peggy's passing. It was an honor to have known and cared for her, she made me a better nurse and woman. She recently told me "never leave the house looking any less than what you feel about yourself". I've thought of that many times as I leave my house and maybe touched up my hair or lipstick for her! I believe she is what would have been called a "Grand Dame"! She made such an impression on me over the last years. She was so full of dignity, passion and love. Every time I saw her, whether in the clinic or at the Bon, she hugged me and we would just visit as friends. Even at her sickest I don't think I ever saw her without a smile (or her lipstick, "Cherries in the Snow")! Her devotion for you Bill, her knight in shining armor, gave me hope and was so heart warming. She leaves a huge void on this earth but I am confident I will see her beautiful face again one day and we'll rejoice! God bless you and your family.
Love,
