PEARL M. KELLY
Our loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend, Pearl M. (Rider) Kelly passed away Sunday, March 15, 2009, in Tacoma, WA. Pearl was born a "Virgo", August 25, 1927 in Oklahoma. Pearl moved to Kansas City, Kansas at the age of four, where she lived until she married the love of her life, John W. Kelly, in 1949. He joined the Air Force and together they traveled throughout the United States and Europe before settling in Tacoma, WA. Pearl worked for Nalleys Fine Foods, Heritage Rehab and Specialty Care, Goodwill Industries and Tacoma School District. Pearl loved family, "Word Search", people of all ages and a good joke. Her spunky personality and amazing strength will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Pearl is preceded in death by her parents Ernest and Lula Rider, brothers, Otis Rider, Raymond Rider and Jim Rider. Pearl is survived by son John Kelly (Hallis), daughters, Elizabeth Amet (Jim), Kathleen Johnson (Scott), Colleen Kelly, 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, sisters Irene Stogsdill, Mabel Bohrer (Harry), Mary Flowers (George), Helen Rider and many nieces, nephews and close friends. She will be forever in our hearts. Viewing will be held from 12:00-9:00 PM, Wednesday, March 18, 2009 at Mountain View Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 11:30 AM, Friday, March 20, 2009 at Mountain View Memorial Park. Arrangements by Mountain View Funeral Home. 584-0252.
