We live kiddy corner behind Jay and Pauline. We wish to extend our condolences to the entire family. Though we didn't know each other very well, she always greeted us with a smile and a friendly hello. I will never forget her helping me when we found a missing toddler alone in the lot next to our properties. We clothed,cleaned up and fed the child while the police found his parent. Pauline was one of the first people that I met at Russell. She was always very warm, personable, and inquisitive. She had a great sense of humor till the very end. Pauline always cared more for other than she did for herself. She touched deeply everyone who she came in contact with. She was a great co-worker with whom we shared many trials and tribulations. Some people have infectious laughs and Pauline was definitely one of them. (Excitement was always in her voice!) Regardless of whether she was talking about kite flying on the coast, painting, or life, it was always based in celebration. Celebration of those around us, the good times we have together, and our ability to actually become one big happy family! Saying she will be missed would be a huge understatement. One thing is for sure, her mission in life (caring for others, taking initiative, etc.) will carry on in those affected by her positive influence! I will always remember Pauline as a caring and socially active coworker. I enjoyed working with her over the past 5 years on our DC Rally Squad projects; planning games and social events for our coworkers. She always had other peoples' interests in mind and strived to make everyone happy. She had a great sense of humor and definitely made work a more enjoyable atmosphere. She will be missed very much.
