Paula Marlene Shilling's Obituary
Paula Marlene Shilling, 64, passed away December 18, 2013 in Tacoma, WA. She was born on September 7, 1949 in Kansas City, Missouri to Louie V. and Frances B. (Hunsinger) Harris.
Paula was a beloved wife, mother, sister and grandmother who will be missed beyond words. Paula's prayerful devotion and love for her family & the local church will be forever in their hearts.
Paula was a 1988 Rhema Bible College graduate & ordained minister with a passion for prayer, the local church & missionary work. She faithfully served at her home church, By His Word Christian Center, ministered at numerous local churches throughout Pierce & King County WA and traveled around the world with various missionary teams, bringing the Gospel to the nations.
She is survived by her husband J. Brian Shilling; children Matthew, Julie and Adam; mother Frances and brother Johnny. Paula was preceded in death by her father and brother Don.
A memorial service will be held at 9 am, Saturday, December 28, 2013 at By His Word Christian Center, 10110 Aqueduct Dr E, Tacoma, Washington.
Following the memorial service, a burial service will be held promptly at 11:30 am at Mountain View Memorial Park, 4100 Steilacoom Blvd SW, Lakewood, WA.
