Paul A. Wriggle's Obituary
Our beloved Paul Wriggle, 88, passed away Friday, June 3, 2016 at his home in Lakewood. Paul was born Feb 23, 1928 in Johnsonburg, PA, to Rex and Bertha Wriggle. He graduated from Pennsylvania State University with a degree in Journalism after serving in the U.S. Air Force as a fighter pilot during the Korean War, where he successfully completed 100 combat missions.
Following college, Paul returned to the active Air Force and Air Force Reserve, retiring in 1982 at the rank of Colonel. Paul married his wife of 40 years, Joanne Estelle Fogg on January 29, 1955. They lived in Derry, NH, for 10 years prior to coming to Lakewood in 1966. Joanne passed away Feb 9, 1995 also in their home in Lakewood.
Paul is survived by his four children: Brenda Kavelak of Lake Wales, FL; Mark Wriggle of McKinleyville, CA; Rebecca Wriggle of Stuttgart, Germany; and Amy Vaglica of Lakewood; four grandsons, Patrick, Bryan, Brandon, and Joshua; and his great granddaughter, Amelia.

A celebration of Paul's life for family and friends will be held on Sunday, June 12, at 1 PM, in the Aspen Chapel at Mountain View Funeral Home, 4100 Steilacoom Blvd SW. Lakewood WA 98449. A reception will follow in the Mountain View Willow Room. Family and friends kindly invited.
Arrangements are under the care of Mountain View Funeral Home. Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery on a date still to be scheduled.
