Paul Shell's Obituary
An avid traveler, Paul departed on May 23, 2016 for a one-way trip to a reunion with old family and friends. While disappointed that this destination is not serviced by Disney Cruise Lines or Amtrak, he nonetheless will enjoy the first class accommodations, country music, exotic food, and an unlimited supply of good books, stamps, and stamp collecting paraphernalia.
Declining to go on this trip were his spouse May, son John, daughter Nancy, son-in-law James, daughter-in-law Bernadette, and grandchildren Amy, Matthew, Samantha, and Mason.
Paul was a graduate of Lincoln High School and the University of Puget Sound, a Navy veteran, and worked for the Veterans Administration until retirement. He was a dedicated volunteer for NARFE, Tacoma CERT, and the Tacoma Police Department.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a memorial gift to the American Red Cross.
